And again
Yes.. it rained again today. Let me rephrase. It poured today.
Started earlier today. One hour early. In fact, almost like the reversal of the tides, which come an hour later everyday.
Four pm, and the sky went black. The rain lashed down in more fury today than it did yesterday. Wonderful stuff.
This time the rain let up as i got into the bus, and then returned to full glory as I alighted. Headed back to the same shop as yesterday, had an ice cream and milk. Nothing like ice cream in the rain, I tell you.
In one of the short lulls, i rushed home, to no electricity!! As always! Decided, it was time to get shutter happy!

For the record, electricity came back at 1915 hrs, about an hour after I reached home.

Dude at least it's raining cats and dogs...it's so hot in Delhi...and no power for hours and hours...I'm an inch short of actually blowing up due to heat...

no rain and no power.. now thats a bad combo. we had it here for sometime.. but not the 45s that u are facing. all i can say is thats its on its way. or just finish ur exams and run down south where the showers have begun.

Hey.... pretty much ok if the power goes off durin rains... at least it's cooler...
Power goin off in Mlore means you start sweatin like mad, no matter what the season... humidity's too high...

P.S We had no power in M'lore too yday... Mlore Blore bhai bhai??? ;)
Or maybe it IS just a very huge cloud. :D

the raindoes make up forit, but one bane fo this city, (there are lots, this one is just relevant), is that u cant open the windows, or stand outside. the mosquitoes will eat u alive!
as for the red dots (tanvi, check ur eyes!) the answer was in the next image, where i wrote bet u did not think of this.
its the light of the burning ends of a mosquito coil, taken in night mode.

and high humidity is something I am used to now, born and brought up in the "city by the bay".
Going by the name, Mlore Blore might be bhai bhai.. or goign by the new names, Benagaluru, Mangaluru, bhai bhai. :-)

did you notice the candle flame is of a different color in the two snaps? Did you change any settings?

good observation.
one is in black and white mode, the other in sepia. somehow the candle shots always look much nicer in B&W then sepia.. and least in colour.

am so happy...now I have an excuse not to study...(enjoying the weather after spending weeks in a furnace)
